FAQ's

Which countries do you sell to?

I sell to countries all over the world including the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Australia and many others. Worldwide shipping is available through this website..

Do you take on commissions and what does the process look like?

Yes I am happy to take on commissions and to create works perfectly suited to your needs. If you are interested in proposing a commission, please email me at hello@paulspencerart.com and provide as much info as possible. Please feel free to include references to any of my other works on my website. Once I’ve reviewed your request, I’ll respond within 3 days and let you know if I can create the work. At that point I will send you an estimate. Once you’re happy with the estimate, I will issue an invoice of which 50% is due up front (with the remaining 50% due upon completion) along with any other relevant information. Once this has been paid I will initiate fulfilment of your order and email you when your order has been sent out for delivery.

How can I buy an artwork from you?

Buy Direct - Please visit the Shop section of this website where you can buy direct.

Buy via Enquiry - Take a look at the Available Work page on this website and use the Enquire button to email me with the name of the artwork/s that you are interested in, and any questions that you have. If you decide that you want to proceed with a purchase, I will guide you through the process.

Buy via a Commission - If you would like to commission me to make you an artwork then this is also possible. Please see the info on commissions in the question above.

What does the sales process look like?

For direct website shop purchases Head over to the shop area of my website and add the artwork that you would like to buy to your shopping cart. Click the ‘shopping cart’ button (shopping cart icon - top right of your browser) which will show you a summary and subtotal (excluding delivery charges) of your artwork/s. Hit the ‘checkout’ button and you will be taken to a secure page where you will be guided through the payment process. This is where you will enter your address details and select any delivery options. Once you have paid you will receive a payment receipt by email. I will then process your order and you will then receive a further email (with a tracking number) once your order has been sent out for delivery.

For enquiry lead purchases Have a look at the Available Work area of my website to browse artworks which are available to purchase. Hit the enquire button which will open an email window. Email me with the name of the artwork that you would like to purchase and I will prepare a proforma invoice for you to review. This will include payment details. As soon as I have received your payment then I will initiate fulfilment of your order and email you when your order has been sent out for delivery.

Do you offer discounts?

I may offer occasional discounts to my newsletter subscribers, which you can sign up for here.

How much is delivery?

Delivery costs vary depending on the size of the artwork and the delivery service selected. Delivery costs are detailed on my Delivery & Returns page.

Where do I pay?

Direct Sales - Head over to the Shop area of my website. Once you have chosen an item select ‘checkout’ where you will be guided through the payment process.

Via Enquiry or Commission - I will email you payment details (Paypal or BACS).

What methods of payment do you accept?

For direct website shop purchases I accept Paypal and Credit/Debit card payments (via Stripe). For email enquiry payments I accept Paypal and BACS.

When will I receive my artwork?

Delivery times depend on your location/delivery method. Please see the estimated delivery times on my Delivery & Returns page.

Are artworks insured whilst in transit?

Yes, all artworks are insured against loss and damage in transit.

Do artworks come framed?

Due to their fragile and sculptural nature all wall mounted artworks will be delivered framed. Free-standing sculptural works are shipped on their own i.e. no frame or display case. For artworks of this nature I would recommend housing them in a display cabinet, acrylic box or bell jar to protect from damage and dust.

What is your returns policy?

Please see my returns policy here.
